Leading IT infrastructure distributor, Axiz has launched the ASUS EN7900 series of graphics cards that include the EN7900GT, EN7900GT TOP and EN7900GTX. These cards are built for Windows Vista and incorporate the newest generation of Nvidia`s GeForce7900-series graphics processing units (GPUs) with double data rate three (DDR3) that is capable of clock speeds of up to 1.6GHz.
"The ASUS engineering division outfitted the EN7900GT series with an advanced heat-pipe and new memory cover designs. They also boast the latest exclusive ASUS innovations such as Splendid, Gameface Messenger, Game LiveShow, Game Replay and Video SecurityOnline," says Kobus de Beer, ASUS product manager at Axiz.
The EN7900GT TOP adopts heat-dissipating pipes to sustain maximum GPU capacity for stable operation and robust performance. The efficient cooling design of the graphics card also includes memory covers to permit heat transfer directly from the memory chipsets onto the heat-pipe. The heat pipe is affixed onto the GPU and has memory mounting pads to divert heat away from the GPU and memory chips during operation. "The result is a graphics card that has unrivalled performance for ultimate video-quality connoisseurs," says De Beer.
Hardcore gamers are provided with overclocking abilities and top-shelf graphics quality with the EN7900GT TOP. It`s capable of supporting high-definition TV output and delivering the industry`s fastest anti-aliasing effects for realistic visuals. The EN7900GT TOP has also adopted Microsoft`s DirectX9.0 Shader model 3.0 to enable stunning and complex special effects. The ASUS EN7900 series of graphics cards is bundled with Peter Jackson`s King Kong: the full edition official game of the movie.
The ASUS EN7900GTX is equipped with 512MB DDR3 of video memory, an engine clock of 1.6GHz and a 256-bit memory interface. Featuring a PCI-E bus standard, this graphics card has a maximum resolution of 2 048 x 1 536 for cathode ray tube (CRT) monitors, a video graphics array (VGA) output with dual video interface (DVI) VGA adaptors, s-video and composite with high-definition television (HDTV) support and a dual DVI interface.
Presenting almost identical features are the ASUS EN7900 GT and ASUS EN7900GT TOP. These graphics cards provide 256MB DDR3 of video memory, engine clock speeds of 450MHz/520 MHz and a 256-bit memory interface. The ASUS EN7900 GT has a memory clock of 1.3GHz, while the ASUS EN7900GT TOP features a memory clock of 1.44GHz.
