Leading IT infrastructure distributor, Axiz has introduced the ASUS A8R32-MVP deluxe motherboard for the enthusiast. It is based on the ATI CrossFire Xpress 3200 chipset to support AMD`s Socket 939 Opteron and Athlon processors.
"The ASUS A8R32-MVP deluxe motherboard offers ways to raise system performance that include voltage adjustments for DIMM, core, Northbridge and Stepless Frequency Selections. Memory overclocking capabilities are also improved as the motherboard supports AI Clock Skew, a memory-tuning technology that provides users with the fastest computing speeds. It automatically skews the memory-clock signal timing to improve memory overclocking ability by 10% to 15% without strenuous fine-tuning.
PCI Express Graphics (PEG) Link is a unique feature of the ASUS A8R32-MVP deluxe motherboard that enables users to boost graphics card performance for superior video quality. Users are able to raise GPU and VGA memory via the motherboard BIOS in the same way that system bus and memory bus are tweaked. PEG Link Mode also enables powerful video performance on DX8 and DX9 applications.
The motherboard`s ATI CrossFire ability boosts image quality and rendering speed to eliminate the need to crank down screen resolutions for high quality images. "ATI CrossFire ignites with higher antialiasing, anisotropic filtering, shading and texture settings that users` desire," states De Beer.
With ATI`s Catalyst Control Center, users can adjust display configurations, experiment with advanced 3D settings and view the effect with a real-time, 3D-rendered preview. Stack Cool 2, a fan-less and zero-noise cooling solution, transfers heat generated by the critical components to the opposite side of the specially designed, printed circuit board. Combined with the low power consumption design that operates for Northbridge and Southbridge at 8W and 6W respectively, the chipset remains cool at low temperatures.
According to De Beer, the ASUS A8R32-MVP deluxe motherboard supports dual PCI Express x16 slots running at full speed to liberate graphics cards through ATI`s CrossFire Xpress 3200. The motherboard has also inherited AI Life Series features that include Precision Tweaker and an AI non-delay overclocking system.
