Leading IT infrastructure distributor Axiz says its appointment as an authorised HP Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) distributor is a significant one for the company.
In addition to its incumbent HP Personal Systems, Enterprise and ProCurve networking line of products, Axiz will also now be responsible for the distribution of IPG commercial and consumer hardware in South Africa.
"We are very excited about this appointment as it enables us to not only offer our existing resellers new products, but also to grow our reseller base with the addition of these imaging and printing solutions," says Craig Brunsden, chief marketing officer at Axiz.
Axiz is committed towards delivering the skills needed within the channel to drive the growth of HP IPG products in the local market. "We have made significant investments in resources and training and we now eagerly await the arrival of our stock," says Patrick Reeves, HP marketing manager at Axiz.
With a proven track record across other parts of the HP business, Axiz is looking forward to applying its reseller knowledge and experience to the imaging and printing solutions.
Reeves concludes: "While HP printers certainly broadens our product offering and enables us to offer a more complete HP solution, we are also enthusiastic about extending the reach of our largest partner, HP, into the commercial and consumer channel."
