Axiz, the leading IT infrastructure distributor, has announced the immediate availability of the ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe for AMD platforms and the P5N32-SLI Deluxe for Intel platform motherboards.
Featuring dual X16 peripheral component interconnecting (PCI) express scalable link interface (SLI) graphics, eight-phase power design and fan-less cooling, these motherboards deliver superior video performance, cool and quiet computing as well as stable and efficient power supply.
"The true dual x16 SLI is a 16-lane PCI Express link that provides maximum graphics performance for next-generation graphics processing units (GPUs) and games with up to 10% system efficiency improvement," says Kobus de Beer, ASUS product manager at Axiz. The eight-phase power design of the ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe and P5N32-SLI Deluxe motherboards reduce input ripple current and output ripple voltage. This protects the central processing unit (CPU) and power modules from high power stress, while increasing component lifespan. "The eight-phase power design is also critical for when the CPU is experiencing heavy workload and requires immediate current support," indicates De Beer. "It enables power modules to operate at temperatures 15^0 lower than conventional power solutions and provides a cool computing environment. This lower temperature also results in better stability for overclocking."
The ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe and P5N32-SLI Deluxe motherboards have a fan-less design that brings effective and noiseless cooling to counter the heat generated by their components. The motherboards also feature copper heated pipes that direct heat generated by the chipsets to the heatsink near the rear in/out ports where it can be carried away by existing air flow. The Stack Cool 2 is another feature that effectively transfers heat generated by the critical components to the other side of the printed circuit board for fast heat dissipation. An optional fan has also been designed to provide sufficient airflow over the CPU power modules and chipset area when water-cooling and passive cooling systems are utilised. The optional fan is only used when the water-cooling or passive CPU cooler is installed to effectively dissipate heat from the entire system.
