Baan launches new iBaan family of products for the Internet

iBaan Internet-enabled solutions combine enterprise integration, personalised information provision and value Web collaboration to unlock the power of across the enterprise.

[VIDEO]Local enterprise application solution provider Softworx has announced the availability of iBaan, Baan's new generation family of Internet-enabled value Web collaboration solutions. A Web-based solution, iBaan combines Baan technology with significant new developments that enable companies to seamlessly integrate systems and processes, provide end-users with personalised and easy-to-use information, and empower businesses to collaborate with their customers and suppliers over the Internet.

The new iBaan family of solutions combines existing Baan products with significant new innovations, including:

iBaan Portal - gives employees access to all the different information sources, applications and business processes needed for day-to-day decision-making and execution - featuring individual employee views and full role-based security.

iBaan OpenWorld - universal iBaan integration framework that helps companies integrate third-party and legacy applications using powerful new graphical business object mapping and XML-based gateway technology to enable full Web integration.

iBaan Collaboration - powerful collaborative commerce solutions that allow organisations to make quick and easy adjustments to business processes, reconfigure applications on the flay as relationships change, and support the dynamic addition of users, roles, business objects and business processes.

iBaan Webtop - thin-client for iBaanERP 5 providing customers with a whole new Web interface, and featuring two integrated products - the Webtop navigation framework and powerful thin-ERP technology that delivers full HTML-based Baan functionality within a standard Web browser, offering significant cost-of-ownership benefits including simplified management and a zero-client fast install capability.

iBaan Solutions - a range of new and enhanced e-business solutions, including iService - a comprehensive self-service application that uses the Web to enhance customer interaction; iSell - an integrated business-to-business Web selling system featuring a new e-Sales generator; and I-Buy - a secure, Web-based buying solution with a new e-Procurement solution that helps companies to speed selection, reduce costs and improve productivity. Additional iBaan solutions include iPlan, iMake, iAccount and iMove.
