In today`s workplace, you often find yourself in situations where you need to take notes, draw or capture information. Often, moments of inspiration and impromptu meetings force unprepared professionals to grab the nearest piece of paper or napkin, only to realise the pen they always carry around with them has disappeared. Leading IT infrastructure distributor, Axiz, says it has the perfect alternative with the new Genius G-Note 7000.
Changing the way notes are taken and information is stored forever, the Genius G-Note 7000 is an A4-size digital note and tablet that gives users the ability to take notes and draw easily.
"It boasts 32MB of built-in memory that can store and manage over 100 written A4 pages," says Annie Padayachee, product manager for Genius at Axiz. "You won`t lose anything you write and recordings can be managed easily and efficiently."
To use the Genius G-Note 7000 all you need to do is turn on the power, put normal paper on the digital pad and then write notes as you usually would using the digital pen provided. What you write is immediately stored in the digital pad memory. When you get back to the office, simply connect the Genius G-Note 7000 to your computer with the USB cable provided and transfer data using the Genius G-Note Editor preloaded software.
The Genius G-Note Editor software that accompanies the Genius G-Note 7000 provides users with tools that allow you to view, organise, annotate and edit the digital pages uploaded from the pad`s digital memory. Furthermore, it allows you to attach pages into Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint or Excel and share them with others via e-mail.
"When the Genius G-Note 7000 is connected to a PC, the pad can be used as a tablet and the digital pen can move on the e-pad, performing the role of a mouse," says Padayachee. The 32MB memory and a SD memory card slot enable the Genius G-Note 7000 to act as a mass storage device increasing its versatility.
Included in your Genius G-Note 7000 package are an A4 paper pad, four backup pen tips, five AAA batteries, one USB cable, quick installation guide and a Genius G-Note Editor CD. Recommended retail price is R1 400 excluding VAT.
