The BenQJoybook 6000 is a 12.1-inch 1280 X 800 Resolution Wide-screen notebook. Incorporating the company`s exclusive Ultra Brilliant Multimedia Technology, the Joybook 6000 is the first of a series of digital hubs that will be targeted towards the business professional.
Manoj Tripathi, BenQ country manager for South Africa, says the launch is in line with his company`s vision to "not only bring the latest technology to consumers, but develop technology that provides enjoyment".
Features of the BenQ Joybook 6000 include: slim dimensions (302x218x23, 28mm); lightweight (1.6kg); eight hour battery life (with a second battery); integrated wireless networking capabilities for Internet access anywhere. The unit also incorporates dual display mode auto-switching for easy projector attachment and a new front-end air intake ventilation system for superior cooling and stability.
The BenQ Joybook 6000 provides easy access to the Internet with integrated wireless network capabilities when users are in a WiFi hotspot. Where WiFi is not accessible, users can depend on the built-in Bluetooth or Infrared IrDA to link to a mobile phone and access the Internet via GPRS data connection.
In addition to these capabilities, the BenQ Joybook 6000 is designed to ensure as comfortable working conditions as are possible. The elevated screen design allows more relaxed viewing and an innovative battery design allows users to adjust the positioning of the notebook when attached.
"In combination with its smooth blue Aluminium Alloy exterior and sophisticated elevated LED status panel design, the Joybook 6000 is the perfect notebook for the fast paced lifestyle of fashion conscious professionals", concludes Tripathi.
