BenQ unveils projector with iPhone dock

BenQ has introduced the next generation of its popular mini projector, the BenQ Joybee GP2, Market Watch reveals.

The GP2 Projector features the elegant black and white housing while adding a number of enhancements, including an intuitive user interface, 720p HD-ready video capability, short-throw projection, an integrated iPhone and iPod dock and a multitude of connectivity options.

According to Chip Chick, the technology inside the projector is based on 3LED illumination and DLP projection tech. Audio can be handled through external speakers, as the projector has an audio jack.

The BenQ Joybee GP2 is packed with multimedia connectivity, including USB and SD card viewers, a document viewer for Microsoft Office and PDF documents, and mini HDMI for tablets and smartphones, eCoustics notes.

The efficient GP2 Projector is designed to produce exceptional picture quality, providing users with clearer, brighter and more vivid images, without relying on traditional projection lamps.

"By incorporating features and benefits that mobile consumers value, the BenQ Joybee GP2 creates a unique combination of performance and flexibility," says Lars Yoder, president at BenQ.
