BlackBerry rumoured to release tablet
A Full HD BlackBerry tablet may be in the works at RIM HQ if analyst Ashok Kumar of Rodman and Renshaw is to be believed, states Tech Digest.
Due before the year's end, his sources tell him the tablet would be about seven inches in size with two cameras for video calling and a 1GHz Marvell processor.
If that processor turned out to be a Marvell Armada 610, RIM's BlackBerry tablet could be a very capable machine indeed. The Armada 610 boasts full HD 1080p video playback, 16MP photo capture, as well as the ability to show 3D content.
Fujitsu working on Android smartphone
Fujitsu is said to be working on a smartphone, writes Know Your Mobile.
The said device, which will be powered by Android, is rumoured for release sometime next year with NTT DoCoMo - a Japanese mobile network.
At present, details of the Fujitsu Android smartphone are extremely sparse but with Fujitsu's merger with Toshiba's mobile unit, which is also reported to be on the cards, impressive things are expected.
Nokia C5 debuts in India
Finnish cellphone maker Nokia has released its latest C-series mobile phone, the Nokia C5, in India, says Times of India.
Sporting a 2.2-inch display with 240 x 320 pixels, C5 comes with 3.5-megapixel camera with LED Flash and video recording VGA at 15 frames per second.
The phone also offers support for Nokia Ovi Maps which enables free global navigation. Running on Symbian OS 9.3, the phone comes pre-loaded with a 2GB memory card. The memory can be expanded up to 16GB.
