Enterprise management solutions provider BMC Software has introduced the BMC Identity Management Suite, an integrated solution set that allows navigation across BMC`s identity management applications.
The company also outlined its global blueprint for the suite, which focuses on developing solutions that address customer needs such as regulatory compliance, identity federation and rapid implementation, says BMC.
Arjen Wiersma, BMC Software country manager for SA, says the product is aimed at mid-sized and bigger companies, and is suited to the South African market, where there is a high level of awareness of security risks and threats.
Central to business service management, the BMC Identity Management Suite focuses on the allocation and management of identity and access rights of both internal and external users, he explains.
"BMC Software`s identity management solutions link entire user populations (employees, partners, suppliers and customers) to processes, systems and business services, allowing customers to simplify their identity management operations, comply with regulatory mandates and protect sensitive information, while improving business services," BMC says in a statement.
