* Enterprise-level enhancements include support for a simplified web development framework, Jakarta Struts, that allow rapid development of Web applications, and Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) unit testing that supports the rapid cycles necessary for agile development.
* Developer productivity advancements are designed to make development tasks such as code management and debugging faster and easier. Examples include tighter integration with Borland TeamSource and Rational ClearCase, Concurrent Version System (CVS), as well as the ability to debug non Java code such as OracleJSP and to modify Java classes on the fly while debugging.
* Support for new standards, including J2SE v1.4, JSPs, servlets, Web Services and XML ensures interoperability for all major platforms, continuing the Borland commitment to provide customers with best-in-class technologies that meets their requirements.
* Enhanced import capabilities allow projects originally built using other development environments to leverage the benefits of JBuilder. This provides customers with the ability to leverage modern development environments and previous investments in software projects.
