Britehouse, a division of Dimension Data, focusing on Enterprise Application technologies solutions and services has expanded its geographical presence to now include an office in the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) territory.
The opening of the Britehouse KZN office, based in the Dimension Data building in Westville, Durban, follows the acquisition of Britehouse by Dimension Data in October 2015 and the subsequent merging of the Dimension Data application assets into the Britehouse brand.
Britehouse KZN Regional Group Executive, Tim Rautenbach, is excited to evangelise the Britehouse vision of being the brand of choice, delivering quick-to-market, innovative digital solutions to its clients using the best people and technologies. He sees the Britehouse acquisition by Dimension Data as an opportunity to offer KZN clients access to these digital solutions and services across the entire ICT stack which will provide them with a competitive advantage in the market and bring them closer to their customers.
Rautenbach explains further "It is exciting to be in an industry which is experiencing so much change and disruption. It is even more exciting to be part of an organisation like Britehouse where we are driving this change and disruption through our innovative solutions."
"Through our highly skilled teams and working closely with our technology partners, we are able to show our clients that the digital revolution is about allowing organisations to do things which were not possible in the past. In short, it's about efficiency, agility, innovation and remaining relevant in their markets.
"Our role as Britehouse KZN is to be the knowledge and competence bridge for clients to the technology and solutions that will keep them relevant.
"In that context, Britehouse KZN represents a competitive advantage for its clients.
"Through Britehouse KZN, clients gain access to the latest solutions, as proven in other industries and clients globally, as well as the most up to date expertise in applying those solutions to optimise business outcomes.
"We are able to achieve this by tapping into the collective knowledge and experience in Britehouse of over 1 200 permanent consultants specialising in SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, mobility and custom developed applications, providing services that span the full applications lifecycle, from build and deploy through to operate and innovate. When we include our sister companies within Dimension Data Global and the NNT Group, we have access to over 12 000 specialists in SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, Digital Development and BI consulting services.
"We are able to provide our clients the best and most appropriate expertise in delivering our services and solutions through our consultants. Our delivery mechanisms allow Britehouse KZN to be able to offer our clients options which will best suit their needs."
The Britehouse offering, now in KZN provides clients with access to some of the most innovative services and solutions.
Pre-emptive, predictive monitoring and management of customer landscapes will be done via the Britehouse Control Centre (BCC), the only one of its kind in Africa.
SAP customers will have direct access to the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud delivered through Managed Service from Britehouse, A Division of Dimension Data.
Use of Britehouse Mobility's enterprise mobility platform, ATAJO, will position customers to rapidly mobilise their field forces at a fraction of the cost of acquiring their own platform.
In addition, Britehouse is one of very few companies in Africa to offer a digital advisory service along with extended capabilities in digital disciplines focused on the enterprise space. The advisory service helps customers define their digital strategy and apply the relevant digital disciplines to optimal effect.
Britehouse's Serendipity digital solution is the only one on the market that enables automatic discovery of content of value to knowledge workers, based on the information on which they are currently working. Contextual and real time, it seamlessly integrates into repositories and systems such as the Office Graph (Delve), SharePoint, Dropbox, and Network Shares.
A related product, Compubrand, provides employees with customised documents based on job roles, delivering the templates users need at a click of a button. This eliminates costly duplication of work and documents and ensures that corporate branding is extended and reinforced through every document an organisation issues.
Marc Jessiman, Regional Executive KwaZulu Natal for Dimension Data, says of the addition of Britehouse to the KZN territory "The launch of our Britehouse business in KZN has enhanced our go to market capability. As organisations begin their journey to becoming digital enterprises, it is essential that they engage with a partner who has a comprehensive understanding of the application environment and infrastructure layer backed up by the necessary professional and managed services to successfully guide them on this journey. With the addition of the Britehouse offerings to the current Dimension Data services and solutions portfolio, we are well positioned to assist clients on this journey."
