The Bromide Technologies Group has added yet another partner accreditation to its tally, already including the likes of Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Citrix and Cisco.
Having been successfully audited regarding the prerequisite technical and sales requirements, Bromide Technologies is now also a QLogic Signature Partner, one of only two in the country to date.
In preparation for the certification, employees from Bromide Technologies attended training in South Africa and abroad to ensure full competency covering all areas of the QLogic range of integrated storage networks.
QLogic Corporation simplifies the process of networking storage for OEMs, resellers and system integrators. The company produces the controller chips, Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs) and fabric switches that are the backbone for its storage networks and serves customers with solutions based on all storage network technologies including Internet SCSI (iSCSI), InfiniBand, Routing and Fibre Channel.
Distributed in South Africa by Odirile Storage Distribution (OSD), the brand has grown at a rapid rate in the local arena.
"Signature accreditation will give Bromide Technologies access to priority support from QLogic, instant training on new product releases, exclusive incentives, rebate programmes and premium service in general," explains OSD Business Unit Manager for QLogic, Ewald Meyer. "I have no doubt that this will see them achieve the next level of Preferred Signature Partner status within the next few years."
