Bruce Foods Corporation, one of America`s largest privately-owned food manufacturers of Cajun and Tex Mex food products, has chosen JBA Food to integrate their facilities and improve manufacturing capabilities.

Bruce Foods, founded in New Iberia, Louisiana in 1928, manufactures over 550 food items, including the famous Original Louisiana Hot Sauce, Bruce`s Yams, Casa Fiesta Mexican Food, and other brand names throughout the United States and in more than 100 countries. It has over 1,200 employees, four processing plants in the United States, and an affiliated facility in the Netherlands.

Bruce Foods was previously operating under an in-house system that had been continually modified due to growth and demand. The JBA Food solution was selected because of its specific capability to track inventory and cost for the food industry and year 2000 compliance. In addition, JBA`s AIMS toolset provides Bruce Foods with simple access to all types of enterprise-wide information including traditional hard copy report writing, end-user query analysis, and On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) requirements. "JBA was clearly the best software solution to meet our changing needs", said Larry Courville, CFO of Bruce Foods. "JBA`s exceptional cost and inventory tracking capabilities will enable us to better forecast and budget our requirements which is vital to

our business".

JBA Food software combines manufacturing, customer service and logistics, financial and service management applications into one, highly configurable, enterprise-wide business solution that is in operation in over 4,000 companies around the world.
