Archos enters mobile computing space
Portable media maker Archos has unveiled its first mini laptop, entering the mobile computing space, reports the Earth Times.
Developed with the needs of the modern-day mobile consumer in mind, the small, light and functional Archos 10 provides an out-of-the-box solution for people looking to stay connected, productive and entertained while on the go.
Weighing less than 2.8 pounds, the Archos 10 features 10.2-inch LED screen, 160GB hard drive storage and 1GB RAM.
BlueConnect patents granted
Johnson Controls, a US-based provider of automotive interiors, products and services, says the US Patent Office has awarded two new patents for its BlueConnect wireless connectivity technology for use in vehicles, according to Reuters.
The BlueConnect hands-free system enables a wireless connection to mobile phones using Bluetooth technology, allowing drivers to make and receive calls using a vehicle's voice recognition and audio systems.
The system reportedly offers a wide range of features connected to and enabled through the driver's personal mobile phone.
