Business Connection`s Gary Verster is the first IT professional in South Africa to receive the Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) qualification. Verster wrote and passed his exams whilst attending the I-Forum Conference in Orlando, USA, earlier this month, making him one of only 290 individuals worldwide to have achieved this level of proficiency in Citrix.

The CCEA qualification now enables Business Connection to provide full local support for the large-scale rollout of Citrix installations. "The CCEA provides the skills necessary for the understanding and implementation of the additional management services and add-on features available with Citrix," states Gary Verster, Business Connection`s Citrix Specialist. Verster has now been certified by Citrix to design, deploy and manage large-scale Citrix installations in South Africa. A pre-requisite for the CCEA qualification is the CCA, which is the base Metaframe qualification in Citrix. Business Connection is a Citrix Gold Partner, a status achieved with more than 5 of Business Connection`s employees being certified Citrix CCA`s (Citrix require a minimum of 2 qualified CCA`s for Gold Partner status). According to Mophatlane, ongoing skills enhancement and training is central to Business Connection`s success to-date and is a key to its continued future growth.
