Business Connexion gains NetIQ reseller status

Johannesburg, 02 Feb 2005

Business Connexion`s Microsoft competency has added yet another accolade to its achievements with the resigning of a reseller agreement with NetIQ.

NetIQ is well known in both the local and international market for its range of products, which cover systems management, windows administration, Web analytics and security management.

The revival of the arrangement between the two parties will see the division add a range of products to its offering that perfectly complement its Microsoft solutions. This addition will greatly benefit Business Connexion`s significant client base both in SA and other parts of Africa.

"Our customers want to enhance their existing Microsoft solutions and we need to be in a position to deliver on those expectations. This product range allows us to work more smartly, more efficiently and deliver solutions more quickly to the market," comments Jacques Loubser, Business Connexion`s Microsoft head.

Neil Cosser, 10Net GM, says 10Net (the sole distributor of NetIQ products in Sub-Saharan Africa) chose to partner with Business Connexion because of the good working relations the pair have always enjoyed and the latter`s significant customer base. The fact that Business Connexion is recognised as the largest black empowered company in Africa, also played a role in the decision.

"Business Connexion`s clients include large corporations that will benefit from implementing NetIQ products in their business, so partnering with a company that has a respectable and wide customer base made business sense."

The partnership will not be limited to the local environment only but will extend beyond the borders of SA as Business Connexion grows with its clients.
