Bytes People Solutions offers Microsoft Certification boot camps

Bytes Peoples Solutions, a provider of internationally accredited education, training, skills development and people consulting services within the Bytes Technology Group, has put together a series of Microsoft Certification “boot camps” for experienced IT professionals, which will be held in December 2011 through to the end of the first quarter of the new year. This will enable Microsoft partners to quickly achieve competency requirements.

“Microsoft partners have to adhere to specific competency requirements, including specific certifications. At the same time, it's often difficult for Microsoft partners to send their staff on lengthy training courses. That's why we have developed a series of certification programmes that are held over a maximum of five to 15 days. This makes it easier as employees are away from the office for a much shorter period of time. It also means that the courses are more cost-effective simply because they take less time to complete,” says Pieter Nel, customer relationship executive at Bytes People Solutions.

Nel says Bytes People Solutions, a Microsoft Gold Learning Partner, is taking advantage of the annual year-end slowdown to offer the certification courses, as people generally have more time on their hands during this period.

“Microsoft certifications bring valuable, measurable rewards to IT professionals, their managers and the organisations that employ them. These certifications ensure that partners are recognised, and serve as a validation of the skills and competencies of partners' employees. This in turn strengthens the partners' position with their own clients.”

The boot camps cover the following Microsoft competencies:

* Desktop
* Portals and Collaboration
* Server Platform
* Systems Management
* Virtualisation
* Web Development

Each boot camp is a compact intervention, which includes the necessary face-to-face contact with high-level facilitators, certification exams and additional material in e-format. The training days are longer than normal, running from 8am to 6pm each day.
