Bytes People Solutions steps into virtualisation space

Johannesburg, 11 Feb 2009

Virtualisation is currently a topic of discussion in most of today's enterprises, and reports indicate a huge demand for enterprises to seriously consider the virtualisation space.

Bytes People Solutions has been one of the leading training providers for more than 12 years, with success largely due to the quality of offerings as well as the ability to adapt to the ever-changing IT landscape.

“As part of ensuring that our offering stays in line with current and future client demand, the IT Learning Solutions Business Unit has added a Virtualisation and Server Consolidation Vertical to its current offering,” says Trevor Jones, Product Manager of Server Consolidation and Virtualisation.

Bytes People Solutions will be offering certification training in the virtualisation space as well as sessions on the value of virtualisation to our current and potential clients.

Bytes People Solutions has set up a server room equipped with servers and a SAN as well as the necessary network infrastructure to ensure that delegates attending training will be able to apply and practise the learned theory in a practical environment.

This will allow Bytes People Solutions to offer training in the following key areas:

* Citrix with specific focus on XENserver
* VMware
* Microsoft with specific focus on HyperV

It is important to take note that Bytes People Solutions is certified, among others, as a:

* Citrix Authorised Learning Centre
* VMWare Authorised Training Centre
* Microsoft Gold Partner for Learning Solutions

We do pride ourselves in the skills and expertise of the facilitators used in these specific areas, says Pieter Nel, Business Unit Executive at Bytes People Solutions.

The training can be offered in the Durban, Cape Town and Midrand training centres. Our clients can also rent the classroom for testing and training purposes.
