Computer Associates International, Inc (CA) has announced broad-based, comprehensive support for IBM`s newest, most powerful IBM eServer mainframes and supporting software.
As an IBM early support program participant and development partner, CA worked closely with IBM and mutual customers in the implementation of the new IBM eServer zSeries 990 system. CA has also completed extensive internal testing of its Unicenter, eTrust, BrightStor, AllFusion and Advantage solutions on the software that supports z990 servers. The CA solutions enable customers to leverage new and existing technologies to meet evolving business needs, including management of on-demand computing.

Customers planning to upgrade to the new IBM platform can take advantage of CA`s FlexSelect Licensing to ensure that their technology investments stay closely aligned with their business needs. Designed to easily accommodate changes in customers` IT environments, FlexSelect includes month-to-month and metric-based licensing along with traditional term-based licensing approaches.
