Computer Associates Africa recently introduced its Education Needs Analysis (ENA), a free online tool specifically designed to help local and global partners and customers determine their level of expertise and knowledge of the company`s software.
The ENA lets people choose the product category they are interested in after which they can take the complimentary "evaluation" - which shows how much they know and what they need to know to become a more proficient user of CA software.
The tool also acts as a "curriculum builder", recommending what course to take based on the results of each analysis.
There are over 100 evaluations on 27 of CA`s most prominent products with more products and evaluations being added every week. Each evaluation takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes to complete, so customers can spend more time learning, not figuring out what they need to learn.
"The ENA doesn`t simply roll-out evaluations but it also enables us to map the recommendations back to our Learning Paths which will enable our customers to take the most direct success route," comments Helen Bagnall at Computer Associates Africa.
"At CA we believe everyone should take the time to go through some of the ENA`s evaluations; you will be surprised at what you know and don`t know."
