CA unveils 40 solution partners to support industry-leading CleverPath Portal platform

Innovative value-add application and content portlets accelerate deployment of enterprise portal

Computer Associates International, Inc (CA) today announced that more than 40 companies are now working with CA to provide portlets and integrated solutions for CA`s acclaimed CleverPath Portal. In conjunction with CA, the solution partners are delivering more than 200 portlets that will add value to, and accelerate the deployment of, CleverPath Portal-based solutions for organisations worldwide.

The new portlets and solutions add a wide range of best-in-class tools, content, wireless communications, business intelligence, secure collaboration, visualization, and enterprise integration capabilities to CA`s state-of-the-art e-business workplace. An example of these relationships includes The Financial Times that has extended its content syndication business to corporate users by providing customised intelligence via CA`s enterprise portal.

The partners span several distinct areas. Application Integration partners include Acxiom Corporation, Best Practice Systems, Prophecy International Group, PurchasePro Inc, Soft Design A/S and Surfnshop E-commerce Inc.

Partners that are providing content include Business.com, Datamonitor, divine inc, Financial Times Information Ltd, Tribune Media Services` FluentMedia, NewsEdge, SmartMoney.com, USADATA Inc and Yellowbrix.

Solution partners include AD Consulting, EDS and TechSpan Inc. Partners with tools that provide specialised integration`s include Active Navigation, Acxiom Corporation, Airtuit, Autonomy, Citrix Systems Inc, CollabWorx Inc, Compoze Software, Convera Inc, Crystal Decisions Inc, Documentum Inc, Information Builders Inc, Interwoven, Inxight Software Inc, Novarra Inc, Placeware, Quiver Inc, Telestream, UMA Information Technology AG, Verity Inc, Viewpoint Corporation, Voyage Data Corporation, webMethods and WhiteLight Technology Ltd.

The announcement of these partners was made in conjunction with the release of CleverPath Portal 4.0 and continues CA`s aggressive leadership of the Web portal market, as well as its expanding global network of solution partners.
