CA unveils interBiz Online Group for the ASP Model

interBiz, the eBusiness applications division of Computer Associates International, Inc, has announced the launch of interBiz Online Group at CA World in New Orleans. The new group offers the company`s business applications to the outsourcing marketplace, capitalizing on the ASP delivery model.

interBiz Online Group is a comprehensive program that allows companies of all types to outsource mission-critical business application IT functions and access interBiz`s advanced line of business applications-Financial, Banking and Supply Chain- through flexible application hosting options. The program consists of three basic models of hosting relationships.

interBureau, launched last year in response to clients` search for revenue-generating services, is a model under which a client or partner ASP hosts interBiz applications for their third-party customers. Two new models have been announced to augment interBureau.

iBizPartner is a model similar to interBureau, wherein interBiz hosts the applications on behalf of a partner, and the partner maintains the complete relationship with the end- user.

iBizDirect is a model in which interBiz hosts the applications on behalf of the institution, providing the corporation with the flexibility to utilize interBiz business applications with Web access, without the burden of an IT infrastructure.

interBiz Online Group is working with companies from a variety of industries, including Internet Service Provider Active ISP, accounting firm Web-Accounting.com, and entertainment company Ogden Park Management, to solve business challenges through flexible hosting and outsourcing relationships.
