Computer Associates International (CA) has announced that it received top honors in the backup software category for storage solutions in PC Week Asia`s Readers Choice Award 98.
Readers gave CA highest marks in features and technology, product quality and reliability, and technical and customer support categories, topping Seagate Software, Platinum Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, IBM and Legato. The questionnaire was sent out to 22,700 readers in Asia who comprise decision makers in the planning, purchasing, implementing and managing of systems, peripherals and networks within their organisations.
The primary solution CA offers in this category is ARCserveIT, which automates traditional storage management tasks, lowers operating expenses, improves availability, and enables administrators to easily perform essential data protection routines.
