Syspro's IMPACT Encore ERP system has provided specialist bureau operation Cape Cardiff Data (CCD) with the flexibility to respond to constantly evolving business requirements.
CCD is an accounting and financial services bureau focused on the wholesale and retail liquor industry. The financial and distribution modules of IMPACT Encore enable CCD to produce timeous, accurate financial statements for its clients.
IMPACT Encore is a fully integrated business software solution that provides complete control over the planning and management of all facets of business, including accounting, manufacturing and distribution operations in a variety of industries.
Rob Southey, managing director of CCD, says the company migrated from an in-house developed system to IMPACT Encore in order to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
"The previous system was complicated and rigid, whereas IMPACT is simple to use and flexible," he says. "It's extremely reliable, enabling us to provide superior customer service, and the user-friendly design of IMPACT Encore makes staff training easy."
According to Southey, ongoing enhancements to the product continuously increase its reliability and user friendliness. "Because IMPACT Encore is fully integrated, we can run financial statements as soon as the data has been captured and posted. There's no need to wait for the system to update itself overnight."
A leading ERP software manufacturer, Syspro's IMPACT Encore product is used and supported in more than 50 countries around the world. Product-wide support for the creation of XML documents (supported by built-in XSL style sheets to make such documents suitable for rendering in a web browser) has been included in IMPACT Encore Version 5.0. The company is currently working towards the implementation of XML (and XBRL) support in the General Ledger Financial Report Writer in a future release.
