Leading IT infrastructure distributor, Axiz has launched the Genius G-Shot DV610. This six-in-one solution is packaged as an advanced video camcorder with functionalities that include a digital video camera, digital still camera, USB 2.0 Webcam, digital voice recorder, MP3 player and mass storage device.
"The Genius G-Shot DV610 offers users impressive features, capturing special moments with finesse. It is also especially equipped with MPEG4 technology to enhance image quality and recording time, so no images are distorted or lost," says Annie Padayachee, Genius product manager at Axiz.
Available in a blue shiny cover, the Genius G-Shot DV610 is lightweight and pocket-sized, making it easy to travel with. It`s also a true 3.0M complimentary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensor with 8X digital zoom and consists of a maximum interpolation of up to 6.6-megapixels. In addition, the camcorder has 16MB of built-in memory to easily capture a number of images.
"With an optional 512MB memory card, the Genius G-Shot DV610 can record MPEG4 videos, in audio video interface (AVI) format, with high image-like DVD quality for 60 minutes," indicates Padayachee. "Users can also show videos or pictures on the 2.0-inch low temperature poly silicon (LTPS) liquid crystal display (LCD) for a clear view during recording and playback."
Padayachee says the Genius G-Shot DV610 is equipped with leading-edge technology, has lower power consumption and a brighter 120K pixel display. It includes a rechargeable lithium ion battery that operates up to three hours with the LCD on and supports digital print order format (DPOF) for the easy printing of pictures.
