Cars, games and phones of the future on show at DigitalLife Expo 09

Johannesburg, 01 Dec 2008

GPS devices, MP3 players and DVD systems have made their way into our cars. Coupled with hands-free Bluetooth technology, in-vehicle operating systems, and integrated electronic systems that allow for remote vehicle control and driver voice-activated devices, it's clear the era of the digital car has arrived.

These technologies and the many advances being made in digital vehicle entertainment and information systems will be showcased at DigitalLife Expo 09, which takes place from 27 to 29 March 2009, at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Whether you're looking for the latest GPS system, in-car entertainment, Bluetooth-enabled vehicle technology or a vehicle security system, you'll find it at DigitalLife Expo 09, along with the absolute latest in gaming hardware and software; mobile and personal technologies, from smartphones to PDAs; and digital photo and video cameras.

As the only consumer technology outlet offering a complete digital lifestyle experience, DigitalLife Expo 09 will feature all these products and services as well as advice and solutions covering the full spectrum of digital technology. Everybody is touched by technology and everybody is living the digital lifestyle.

Not only will DigitalLife Expo 09 offer you the opportunity to test-drive, view and buy the latest digital products, but also the chance to gain a better understanding of how to operate this new technology through its interactive and informative free training workshops.

DigitalLife Expo 09 will also once again host its popular, and highly interactive digital home, complete with wireless broadband connectivity and integrated home technologies.

Sponsored by 'do broadband' powered by Telkom, the digital home will feature a kitchen, study, home theatre, teenagers' chill-out pad, kids' bedroom and garage. One lucky winner will also walk away with the contents of the home, valued at R250 000!

Tickets to DigitalLife Expo 09 cost R35 per adult, R20 for students and pensioners, and are free for kids under 12. For convenience, tickets can also be booked online at www.digitallifeexpo.co.za.
