Local supply company, cartridge.co.za, has developed the Enhanced Consumable Programme, or ECP, aimed at small to medium-sized businesses, in an effort to add more value to the exceptionally high costs of printer consumables.
Cartridge.co.za determines the client`s consumables requirements and the necessary stock is then supplied, but the client is only billed once they have used the cartridge, a process called Pay-4-Use. The advantage is that companies will always have stock available and yet only pay for it once it is utilised.
Stock control is taken over by cartridge.co.za at no extra cost to the client. A process called Replenish-U calculates monthly stock requirements and stock is replenished on a 30-day interval basis.
Monthly reports are submitted to the client on stock usage and cost per page analysis is made to determine areas of unnecessary printing. Clients can place any exceptional orders through the Web site, which boasts the most comprehensive list of cartridges available and an easy-to-use search engine. The orders are immediately dispatched and billed to the account.
Cartridge.co.za believes that South African companies are looking for suppliers that can offer more than just a box-dropping delivery. These companies are looking for added value services that will reduce their printing costs without sacrificing print quality and outsource the management of consumables without the usual high associated costs.
