Computer Associates International, Inc (CA) today announced that BrightStor ARCserve Backup and BrightStor SAN Manager both won Most Valuable Data Protection and Storage Management Software awards at Storage World Conference 2003.
The CA products each received more votes than all other finalists combined. BrightStor ARCserve Backup, with 51% of the vote in data protection, topped solutions from Veritas, Legato, CommVault Systems and Hewlett-Packard. BrightStor SAN Manager, with 61% of the vote in storage management, beat solutions from Veritas, CreekPath Systems, Fujitsu Softek and FalconStor Software. Voting was conducted online and onsite at the conference.
BrightStor ARCserve Backup and BrightStor SAN Manager are key products in CA`s BrightStor family of solutions, which helps companies protect and manage data across the enterprise.

CA also received the ACE Award for Web Site Excellence at Storage World Conference. Sponsored by IT Storage Online, the awards honour Web sites for appeal, content and education. Voting was conducted by Storage World attendees.
