"Unicenter TNG Response Manager Option automatically provides end-to-end response times from end-user perspective, along with discovering network resources and users. It is a proactive management application, collecting network-wide performance metrics with the Response Manager probe," says Lodolo. The product analyses network performance and provides automated baselines and thresholds, which creates alerts when performance problems occur in the client/server environment. It is currently available for Windows NT.
Unicenter TNG SNA Manager Option
Unicenter TNG SNA Manager Option is a client/server application, which combines CA-NetSpy on the MVS platform, with SNA WorldView Agent and SNA Manager Problem Analysis components on the Windows NT workstation. This enables viewing of complex-wide information pertaining to the SNA network subsystems via an easy-to-use graphical interface. CA-NetSpy feeds performance information and alert data to Unicenter TNG through the SNA Manager.
