Cegid acquires Civitas

Through this transaction, Cegid expands its product range and demonstrates its determination to become a major player in management solutions for the public sector.

Civitas is a software provider catering to the needs of local authorities and other public entities.

RTI adds data interfaces

Restaurant Technology (RTI), a provider of Web-based restaurant back office systems, has added new interfaces to its RTIconnect software, enabling time-saving office for restaurant operators using QuickBooks Pro 2008, Accenture, and Bravosoft software, reports The Open Press.

RTIconnect users can post cash and export purchases, inventory, and transfers to QuickBooks Pro 2008 software; post cash, inventory, and purchases to Bravosoft general ledger software; and export payroll to Accenture HR software.

RTI also added more export features that allow automated exporting to third-party software.
