Celerant included in Aberdeen report

Celerant Technology, a provider of , was included in the Aberdeen Group Retail POS AXIS, according to PRWeb.

This highly detailed study analysed retail software vendors in order to help retailers gain a better understanding of their technology options.

The study named Celerant as a "Contender" retail software provider, achieving high scores in areas of 'value delivered' and 'market readiness'.

Fujitsu focuses on self-service tech

Fujitsu Transaction Solutions unveiled a host of new U-Serv self- hardware and partner software for retailers at the National Retail Federation's 98th Annual Convention and Expo, says Self-service.

"Today, consumer demand for self-service options has become mandatory in the retail environment," said Peter Wolf, VP of self-service and Univations operations at Richardson, Texas-based Fujitsu Transaction Solutions.

"Fujitsu has a renewed focus on self-service technology in retail, and these new U-Serv solutions and applications represent that commitment to quality and affordable innovations that will further enhance customer service and satisfaction," he added.

UK retail show cancelled

Next week's Retail Business Show exhibition will not be taking place, reports Retail Week.

The show's organiser has confirmed to exhibitors it has ceased trading, and the event will not go ahead.

This comes at a time when retailers are keener than ever to get together to talk about the issues their businesses are facing, and what they can do to help support them.
