Cell C today introduced a promotion offering customers five new contract packages that guarantee a new handset every 12 months and offer reduced data, SMS and MMS rates.
Adding to its volley of new promotion and tariff introductions over recent months, Cell C has launched a contract promotion that will run for three months. The offer sees customers get a new handset each year for one, two, three or four years at reduced rates (in addition to the instated 99c per minute voice rate) and on a free opt-out basis.
Cell C's flat 99c per minute (on per second billing) voice rate includes calls to 50 international destinations, a reduced rate of 25c for data (per MB), as well as 25c per SMS and MMS.
Cell C CEO Alan Knott-Craig Snr says the promotion's benefits are two-fold. “The beauty is not only in the guaranteed new handset that customers will receive at the beginning of every contractual 12-month period, but also in the reduced rates.”
The promotion will run from 17 August to 17 November and will be available on postpaid and hybrid (top-up) plans.
“Each contract will include monthly airtime that can be used for voice, SMS, MMS or data - or any combination of these at rates, never-before-seen in the market. The same reduced rates will also apply for out-of-bundle voice, data, SMS and MMS usage,” says Knott-Craig.
