Fabrizio Mambrini is leaving Cell C for Dubai-based Oger Telecoms, after five years as CFO.

Cell C's CFO, Fabrizio Mambrini, has resigned from the company after five years in the position and is set to take up a position with Dubai-based Oger Telecom, the operator's majority shareholder.

Mambrini joined Cell C five years ago, when the operator was under the leadership of Jeffrey Hedberg, and has previously worked for Oger Telecom.

Cell C says chief of strategy Robert Pasley will act in the position of CFO until the position is filled.

Regarding Mambrini's reasons for resigning, Cell C says: "With the exception of the CEO, the company does not comment on why executives leave."
