Cell C has released a new range of its Daily and Nite data offerings, which will be available to all prepaid and hybrid customers as from today.
Priced at an in-bundle rate of 10c per MB, the operator says customers can purchase three new SmartData Daily bundles, which include 20MB for R2, 50MB for R5 and 100MB for R10.
The bundles expire at midnight on the day of purchase.
Cell C has also added two new SmartData Nite Bundles which can be used between 1am and 7am. Customers can purchase a 250MB Nite bundle valid for one day for R5, with an in-bundle rate of 2c per MB.
The operator said customers with larger data downloads that need to be completed can purchase the 1GB Nite bundle for R10 - which equates to 1c per MB.
Cell C CEO Jose Dos Santos said: "Many customers want a quick check of their social media or a quick post on an online service. These new bundles will allow anyone with a data enabled phone to do just that."
"Sometimes customers just need that little bit extra to complete their operating system updates or other large file downloads. These Nite bundles will give them that extra shot of data at an unbelievable price".
Users can dial *109# to purchase the bundles, while the operator says the out-of-bundle rate will be the default on the customer's tariff plan.
