Cell C has announced its postpaid and prepaid data promotions - set to expire today - will be valid for another three months.
Cell C said this morning that its data promotions, launched in May and initially set to run until 31 July, are now available until 31 October.
The operator has also dropped the price of its entry-level 500MB data offer, from R49 to R45 - including a free 7.2Mbps speedstick (while stock is available).
Cell C CEO Alan Knott-Craig says the company's promotional data packages are intended to offer data at very competitive in- and out-of-bundle rates. “Our in-bundle rate remains 5c per MB, and we have reduced our out of bundle rate from 39c to a much more competitive 15c per MB.”
Knott-Craig says customers can expect more announcements in the near future.
