CentraVoice appointed distributor for Philips

CentraVoice, the only specialist telecommunications distributor in sub-Saharan Africa, has been appointed the South African distributor of the Philips SOPHO IPK (Internet Protocol Key) system. CentraVoice is one of five companies within the CentraTel group of companies.

The SOPHO IPK is a versatile communications platform with more than 200 features including Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), least-cost routing, uniform call distribution, ISDN-BRI and ISDN-PRI voice trunks as well as IP telephony.

"Within the Philips SOPHO IPK, we will be able to provide our customers useful tools to assist them to manage their costs and meet their targets," she says.

A networked SOPHO IPK allows users to use a centralised voicemail, automated attendant and billing, providing them with an immediate return on investment. In addition, the SOPHO IPK uses the SOPHO Dterm series of business telephones.
