CFO to strengthen Milestone Systems

Milestone Systems, an open platform company in IP video management software based in Denmark, has hired Kasper Boel Rousoe as its chief financial officer (CFO), reports SourceSecurity.com.

Rousoe is expected to bolster collaborations between human resources and finance, with the goal to build further on Milestone's market position.

Rousoe has extensive experience in the IT and finance industries, coming from positions as finance director and CFO Europe Middle East and Africa at Lenovo and CFO for the Nordic Region at IBM.

Intel veteran joins Newport

Newport Digital Technologies has appointed Gary DeMel as the company's chief executive officer, states Earth Times.

DeMel is a twenty-eight year veteran of the semiconductor and hi-tech industries, and has held several senior management positions within Intel, ATI, and Level One Communications.

As senior vice-president for Intel, he was the driving force behind the recreation of ATI where he increased revenues from $550 million to over a $1.9 billion in two years.

Green leader bullish on energy efficiency

The Green Grid has named Lawrence Vertal as its new executive director, says Business Wire.

Vertal will champion the organisation's mission to advance energy efficiency in centres and the broader ecosystem of business computing
