Citrix Systems, Inc, the global leader in access infrastructure solutions, announced that the Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite has won the Midsize Enterprise Innovation Award for "Best Manufacturing Solution".
Citrix was selected from a group of 10 technology vendors by more than 80 manufacturing senior IT executives who attended Midsize Enterprise Summit Central, produced by Vision Events and Gartner, held from 10 to 12 September in Austin, Texas. Citrix was also nominated for the Midsize Enterprise Innovation Award for "Best Midmarket Solution".

The Midsize Enterprise Innovation Award for "Best Manufacturing Solution" is given to the best overall technology solution designed for midsize manufacturing businesses, which are defined as having more than 100 employees and annual sales revenue of $100 million to $1 billion. Emphasis is placed on product and service features, the ability to work with existing standards and the degree to which the company`s products contribute to the development of future midsize enterprise solutions. Vendors are nominated and winners selected based on confidential ballots completed by IT executive guests during the final boardroom sessions of the summit.
