Clarizen, IAAP sign VAR agreement

Clarizen, a provider of online project management software, has signed a value-added agreement with IAAP, a consulting and training company in Latin America, states TMCnet.

IAAP focuses on implementing business solutions through project management methodologies and the agreement is aimed at improving project execution and collaboration in organisations in Latin America.

Clarizen's online project management software is a software-as-a-service solution that allows organisations to time, budgets, teams and people, deadlines and work tasks.

McGraw-Hill, Meridian Systems

McGraw-Hill Construction, part of the McGraw-Hill companies, has entered into an alliance with Meridian Systems, a provider of construction project management software. The partnership will provide more streamlined tools for managing digital programme and project controls, project documents, and construction information, reports PR Newswire.

Lack of interoperability is estimated to cost the US construction industry $15.8 billion every year; so getting systems to work together is a top priority for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms and owners.

McGraw-Hill Construction and Meridian are determined to solve interoperability issues faced by AEC clients, starting by connecting their software solutions.

VCSonline reports 35% revenue increase

VCSonline, a provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) in Web-based project, portfolio, and resource management solutions, recently reported a 35% increase in revenues of its VPMi SaaS project management software for 2008, says TMCnet.

Economic downturn is forcing many organisations to improve worker productivity with less staff.

VCSonline customers who are leveraging VPMi SaaS software said the product makes it simple yet sensible to manage projects and resources without the overheads of complex software, licensing, servers, and added staff.
