Accsys, an HR and payroll provider, will be showcasing their PeopleWare Enterprise software, as well as a biometric fingerprint clocking-in system (PeopleTime) at Securex this year.
"Time and attendance is a critical facet of the modern workplace that is directly related to security and having the right technology in place can save a company time, money and resources by reducing the risk of fraud and other unscrupulous behaviour," says Teryl Schroenn, CEO at Accsys.
The biometric clocking-in system, designed and manufactured in SA, uses built-in cellular modems and allows companies to adjust the system to suit their needs.
PeopleTime allows companies to better monitor their employees' routines, preventing time theft, fraudulent clocking and unauthorised overtime. The system also allows for more accurate payment with regards to time-based pay.
Securex will be taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre from 25-27 June this year.
