Cloud lab drives green tech

The lab, which will be run by Professor Schahram Dustdar of the Distributed Systems Group, will conduct scientific research in the field of virtual software services (g-bots) developed by Pacific Controls using managed services for buildings and infrastructure.

According to Centre Daily.com, the so-called g-bots are virtual robots that improve energy efficiency.

Team members of the Pacific Controls Cloud Computing Research Lab at Vienna will provide training at the Pacific Controls R&D facilities in Dubai, India, US, Saudi Arabia and other 20 cities, states Zawya.
