On Thursday 4 August, South African organisations will have an opportunity to discover how to lower costs, improve business agility and unlock the power of their Big Data - through cloud computing and enhanced data storage.
The EMC Forum 2011, hosted by EMC Southern Africa, at Vodaworld, in Midrand, is a free one-day event where delegates can learn how cloud computing is transforming IT and how to accelerate their journey to the cloud.
Inana Nkanza, Country Manager, EMC Southern Africa, says the company will be sharing the latest developments in IT infrastructure and the cloud, and showing companies the breakthrough products and solutions which could transform their businesses.

The agenda for the day is structured into four main streams: storage, cloud, Big Data as well as backup and recovery solutions. In addition to Nkanza and Sakac, other presenters include Eoghan O'Donaghue, Principal Advisor of the Executive Briefing Centre at EMC Ireland; Sandra Hamilton, Vice-President, EMC Consulting, EMC Corporation; and John O'Callaghan, Senior Director, Executive Briefing Programmes, EMEA and India.
