CMCS strengthens ME presence

Collaboration, Management and Control Solutions (CMCS), a provider of project and portfolio management solutions and an authorised representative of Primavera in the Middle East, will conduct a region-wide campaign to further strengthen its presence there, says Gulf Weekly.

The company is preparing to open offices in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain while broadening operations in Jordan, Qatar, and Lebanon, which were introduced in 2008.

This follows a solid 50% revenue growth and more than 25% increase in the number of employees in 2008 despite challenging regional and global economic conditions.

UNLV chooses TeamDynamix

The Office of Information Technology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) has selected TeamDynamix as its PPM solution, reports msnbc.

Following a successful pilot, a gradual group-by-group roll-out is anticipated. The department will use TeamDynamix' Web-based solution to plan IT projects, create timelines, monitor progress, and provide senior management with an easy-to-use, visual status of current projects and resources.

The TeamDynamix solution will enable UNLV's IT leadership to capture important across units by providing a central location for managing all IT projects.

Avotus, KNet sign deal

Avotus has inked a deal with Australian-based KNet Technology to resell its products and services in Asia-Pacific, states CRN.

KNet Technology specialises in the design, development and support of computer networks and has recently grown to include project management, consultancy services, help desk, hosting and managed services with the on site placement of engineering support staff.

As part of the agreement, KNet will provide implementation and support services to Avotus customers and .
