Raytheon Information Solutions and EMC Corporation today announced they will jointly develop and offer unique information technology solutions tailored to the requirements of the federal government.
The companies are demonstrating one of these solutions - a business continuity infrastructure - at Boston`s SC2002, the annual high performance networking and computing conference.
Raytheon Information Solutions and EMC`s Federal Systems Division are developing joint solutions in the areas of storage and server consolidation, operational continuity, information assurance, and high performance computing. With the increased importance of information management, Raytheon will leverage EMC Automated Networked Storage including the storage leader`s suite of open storage management software and networked storage systems.

The high performance business continuity infrastructure, which will be showcased in the Raytheon booth (#1319), includes EMC CLARiiON CX600 and CX400 networked storage systems, MirrorView remote mirroring software and Navisphere management software.
