Comparex Africa Tetra expands offering with Version One

Johannesburg, 06 Mar 2003

Comparex Africa Tetra, the largest Sage reseller outside the UK, has broadened its product offering to include three products within the Version One range of automatic e-commerce solutions - DbMail, DbForm and DbFax.

As a Sage Enterprise Solutions (SES) product alliance partner, Version One`s software products are seamlessly integrated into all SES business management systems, complementing Comparex Africa Tetra`s product offering as a Sage channel partner to its existing customer base.

DbMail, which is tightly integrated into all the main accounting, manufacturing and ERP applications on the market, is designed to automatically e-mail business documents directly from their core business applications, eliminating unnecessary paper costs, improving efficiencies and leading to improved cash flow through the timeous delivery of statements and invoices.

DbForm enables graphical versions of Sage Line 500 and Sage Line 200 documents to be sent directly to plain paper on networked laser printers without the need for pre-printed stationery. The software integrates fully with DbMail and DbFax so that printed, e-mailed and faxed documents maintain a consistent style, improving professionalism and minimising print and administrations costs.

DbFax is an automatic e-commerce faxing solution that eliminates the need for pre-printed stationery by automatically merging the computer text with an image of the appropriate document, thereby reducing stationery, postage and labour costs.

All Version One products are designed to suit Unix, Windows NT and Windows 2000 platforms.

"Version One`s software systems are the only solutions that integrate fully with and are approved by Sage Enterprise Solutions for forms, fax and mail," says Stephen Howe, divisional manager of Comparex Africa Tetra.
