IT solutions integrator Comparex has finalised its new board, confirming the appointment of Peter Watt as CEO.
The board underwent a shuffle following what has been seen in the market as a coup by three institutional shareholders and the subsequent disposal of Comparex`s European operations.
The actions left Comparex with just the African base, Comparex Africa, headed by Watt.
David Nurek, who was acting non-executive chairman, has been appointed non-executive deputy chairman, with Reggie Berkowitz taking over the non-executive chairmanship.
Chief financial officer Alan Farthing has been named financial director, while John Buchanan has become a non-executive director. Among his responsibilities is the chairmanship of the audit committee.
