Computer Associates announces the Jasmine iApplication Suite

Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) today announced a suite of Jasmine(R)ii powered applications that can dramatically improve the ability of companies to win on the Web by accelerating eCommerce solution deployment.

The Jasmine iApplication Suite delivers complete out-of-the-box functionality for fast and cost-efficient Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) selling and procurement. It builds on the power of Jasmine(R)ii and CA`s patented Neugents technology to develop customized personalized exchanges and portals that meet the needs of increasingly demanding customers, thereby promoting customer retention and securing repeat business.

Jasmine iMarket, which provides complete catalogue merchandizing facilities coupled with a dynamically personalized customer portal powered by Neugents. It delivers completed orders to internal sales order processing systems or to affiliated eBusiness partners over the Internet.

Jasmine iProcure, which provides complete management of buyers and approval processes. Vendor product catalogues are directly integrated to produce a purchasing portal. Jasmine iProcure sends purchase orders to internal purchasing systems or directly to vendors over the Internet.

Jasmine iServices, which enable partners and clients to extend the Jasmine iApplication Suite.

Initial components include:

• iShip - Allows selection of a shipping service and calculations of shipping costs to be added to any order.

• iPay - Provides integration with popular payment processors including both credit card processing and financing services.

• iTax - Enables calculation of sales and Value-Added Taxes to be added to any order for any country.
