Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) and Accronym have announced that Accronym has been named a CA Gold Level Enterprise Solution Provider (ESP) Partner, which will enable Accronym to better respond to clients requirements and give it improved access and support to CA products and training.
Accronym`s networking division - Accronet - uses CA`s ARCserveIT to provide backup and restore services to clients. ARCserveIT is the leading storage management product and is designed to protect a company`s most critical business asset - its data. Accronym also intends expanding its CA offerings to include the full range of system and network products, including NetworkIT, the recently announced network management product.
NetworkIT enables powerful centralised management of distributed, multi-protocol, heterogeneous networks. It provides comprehensive management of today`s networking infrastructure, including TCP/IP, IPX, SNA, DECnet, ATM, Frame Relay, and Switches. It replaces legacy tools with no loss of investment and enables centralised network management in a business context.
