Compuware Corporation has announced details of its Uniface application platform suite (APS). The Uniface application platform suite consists of the Compuware Uniface development environment, the Uniface Flow business process management solution, and Uniface View, a Web application delivery framework.
"Users looking for a consistent, reusable platform for their multiple application projects - and users looking for a focused platform for a composite-application project - will find APS offerings attractive," said Massimo Pezzini, Vice-President, Gartner. "APSs are positioned to become the `platform of choice` for composite-software deployment."
Compuware Uniface now delivers a complete solution for helping organisations become more productive, while scaling applications to meet the needs of the enterprise. Through its "open connectivity" capability, Uniface also helps organisations integrate to legacy platforms and emerging technologies.
"The Uniface Application Platform Suite provides Uniface users with a solution that covers the best of both worlds by having development, deployment, as well as portal and business process solutions that can be used independently or combined together to provide a proven solution," said Adrian Gosbell, Uniface Product Manager, Compuware.
The forthcoming Uniface 9 release will further enhance the Uniface APS by including an advanced Integrated Development Environment (IDE), expanded international language support and automated deployment capabilities.
